I believe that art can be a vehicle for transformation and healing.

At its core, my work is about the healing power of beauty. My intent is to create beauty that connects with the viewer emotionally. When a piece of art moves the viewer, it can transform hearts and minds.

The inspiration for my work comes from the beauty of nature and music. In my experience, both have transformative qualities. You can see their influence in the movement, palettes, and compositions of my work. Using my innate sense of color and design, I create paintings that have been called jewels full of life, light, and dancing color.

My process is intuitive, which means my paintings do not start out with a formed idea. When I walk into my studio at the beginning of the day, I turn on some music and spend time getting lost in the melodies. I find that this helps to spark my creative flow.
Then I pick up some color on my brush and start to layer colors across my canvas.

As I layer color upon color, each mark I make informs the next. I continue this process...this dance with the work…adding more and more layers…until when I step back from the painting and I feel it no longer feel it needs anything else. When my soul is at peace when I look at the work and it draws me in....it's depths begging to be explored, I know it's finished.
